TruSecure Executives to Speak at Security Tour
April 1, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- TruSecure Corporation, a leading managed security services provider, announced on Monday that its CEO and its senior vice president will participate in the Yankee Group’s upcoming three-city enterprise security tour (securingtheenterprise.com).
Adam Joseph, CEO, and Peter Horst, senior vice president, says TruSecure, will discuss how to capture a return on an enterprise security investment at the tour’s three stops, Friday, April 5 in Santa Clara, California, Monday, April 8 in Arlington, Virginia, and Wednesday, April 10 in New York City. The 45-minute panels begin each day at 10:15 am.
"Security is the number one concern for executives today and we believe that there needs to be a significant amount of education around correctly implementing an enterprise security strategy," says Matthew Kovar, CFA, director of Security Solutions Services at the Yankee Group. "TruSecure is an emerging leader in the managed security services space, with hundreds of customers worldwide. Mr. Joseph and Mr. Horst bring a vast amount of real-world experience and insight from helping companies maximize their enterprise security efforts in the most cost- effective way possible."
The panel discussion, called “The ROI of Security: How, When & Why,” says TruSecure, will cover the tactics involved in securing an enterprise without bankrupting the bottom line. Joseph and Horst will focus on the need for organizations to understand and address the security risks threatening their information, resources and employees.
"Companies need to understand that the major investment necessary to effectively secure an enterprise is not a commitment of dollars or resources, but a commitment to change behavior," says Joseph. "Being proactive is the key as it allows companies to take a cost versus risk approach that will maximize the return on investment. The Yankee Group is providing a valuable forum to deliver this message and educate the market on the most effective approaches to managing security risk."
