TEG Announces Securing the Network Conference
April 4, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- TEG Worldwide Media (tegwwm.com), a producer of conferences and exhibitions, and TeleChoice (telechoice.com), a catalyst for the telecom industry, announced on Wednesday that they have partnered to develop the Securing the Network Conference and Exhibition (securingthenetwork.com), which will debut in October in Boston.
“We’ve designed Securing the Network to be the one conference that an executive needs to attend to understand the business implications of emerging security technologies throughout and across the end-to-end enterprise network,” says conference director Jeff Phillips, director of consulting at TeleChoice. “The multiple-track conference focuses on challenges for organizations in LAN/WAN security, wireless security, intrusion detection, remote workforce security, risk mitigation, and security outsourcing, among other topics.”
The companies say the conference is geared toward enterprise executives, network integrators, consultants, computer and network managers, engineering managers, OEMs and VARs, offering educational information on managing and securing their networks and their customers’ networks.
Exhibitors at the conference, say the companies, will include vendors and service providers introducing technologies in authentication, client software, digital certificates, encryption hardware, firewalls, management software, PKI, routers, security devices, server-based software, tunnel servers, MPLS, NAT/PAT, network management tools, operating system utilities and drivers, L2TP and more.
