T-Systems Extends IP-VPN MPLS Service to NA
April 30, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- Technology and telecommunications service provider T-Systems Inc. (T-Systems.com) announced on Tuesday that it has extended its global IP-VPN MPLS network services into North America, under the name of IntraSelect MPLS, now offering the services to customers in all major business centers around the world.
T-Systems says its IntraSelect MPLS service brings a scalable, flexible and modular approach to global IP-VPN networking. IntraSelect enables T-Systems to custom-build solutions that address and adapt to specific requirements at each site for availability, class of service mix, service level agreements and support.
Built on the company’s managed IP backbone, T-Systems’ MPLS-based service portfolio offers four "application-aware" classes of service, optimizing bandwidth use based on the priority and unique transmission requirements of applications, resulting in improved total cost of ownership and operational controls, backed by site-based guaranteed performance.
"With IntraSelect MPLS, customers with even the most complex network demands will find easily managed, custom built and cost-effective solutions," said Andrew Borgstrom, chief executive officer at T-Systems, Inc. "T-Systems is committed to continuous network and platform enhancement, ensuring that our customers always have access to the best in current technologies."
