SonicWALL, NTT-ME Offer Managed Security
January 8, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Internet security solutions provider SonicWALL Inc. (SonicWALL.com) announced on Tuesday that NTT-ME Corporation is offering a new managed network security service based on SonicWALL's line of integrated security appliances.
The managed network security service, called 'TrustME for SonicWALL,' is now available through NTT-ME's national distribution network, offering stateful packet inspection firewall protection and remote access connectivity capabilities to businesses of all sizes throughout Japan.
Based on the SonicWALL SOHO3, TELE3 and TELE3 SP integrated security appliances, which are managed remotely by the SonicWALL Global Management System, and sold as part of the NTT-ME ME Global WAVE product line.
"Since initiating this strategic partnership with NTT-ME in July, we've been able to extend our complete line of integrated security solutions across Japan," says Ron Heinz, SonicWALL senior vice president of worldwide sales. "As the logical next step in our relationship, the 'Trust ME for SonicWALL' service provides companies using SonicWALL firewall and VPN appliances with the additional capabilities of remote monitoring and resource management.
