Secure Computing Wins Frost & Sullivan Award
March 25, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Secure Computing Corporation (securecomputing.com), a leading provider of enterprise access control solutions, announced that it has been selected as the recipient of the Frost & Sullivan Market Engineering Award for Customer Service Leadership.
The award, says Secure Computing, is given based on 600 hours of market analysis conducted by Frost, which is documented in a recently completed study entitled “U.S. Commercial Firewall Market.”
"Secure Computing received this award in recognition for their dedication to continuous improvement in customer support to ensure customer satisfaction," said Jason Wright, research analyst for Frost & Sullivan. "Secure's recent achievements in customer support have resulted in a reduction in hold times, improved customer response, and pro-active problem solving."
The Frost & Sullivan Market Engineering Award for Customer Service Leadership, says Secure Computing is given to the company that has demonstrated excellence in customer service leadership in their industry. The recipient should be continually focused on long- and short-term customer goals and flexible in tailoring its products to suit customer businesses.
Secure Computing was recognized for integrating customer relationship management with its phone architecture, increasing its support staff by 50 percent, its workaround guarantee within eight hours for critical issues and its secure Web interface that allows customers to track the status of their trouble tickets.
Among the specific criteria used in determining the final ranking of industry competitors are value-added promotional support, providing value-added technology and services, responsiveness to customer needs, time to market and monitoring and addressing customer feedback.
"Customer satisfaction is our highest priority," says Gary Bibeau, vice president of integration, assurance and support services at Secure Computing. "We are delighted to receive the award as it further validates the groundswell of satisfaction from our customers, the ultimate judges of our support services."
