SBE And Trilogic Form OEM Solutions Partnership
March 14, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- SBE Inc. (sbei.com), a leading supplier of OEM communications solutions, and Trilogic Systems, LLC (trilogicsystems.com), a co-source manufacturer that designs, integrates and maintains system solutions for OEMs, announced on Wednesday that the two companies have formed a new systems solutions partnership.
The collaboration, say the companies, will allow SBE’s customers in the communications marketplace to benefit from Trilogic Systems’ design and integration capabilities. Trilogic has also become a stocking reseller for SBE, providing sales, technical support and RMA support.
Trilogic will use the SBE communication controllers and adapter products in a range of networking applications. SBE’s HighWire HW400c/M core I/O platform will be deployed in PICMG 2.16 CompactPCI PSB systems for applications like VoIP and SS7 WAN gateways. SBE’s wanADAPT and wanPMC products will be incorporated into data communications and network security applications such as wide area networking and VPN routers.
"Developers of converged telecommunication platforms, network security, and carrier-grade computer systems are key market segments that are relying on Trilogic Systems' outsource integration and manufacturing services," says Jim Davis, Vice President of Business Development at Trilogic Systems. "SBE is recognized as a leading supplier of high-speed communications products for embedded solutions offerings in these markets. We are pleased to be in a position to continue strengthening the relationship between our two companies to better serve the customer base for these products and services."
