Resilience Launches VPN/Firewall Appliance
July 22, 2002 -- Security solution developer Resilience Corporation (Resilience.com) announced on Monday that it has released the Resilience DX4000 VPN and firewall appliance.
The Resilience gigabit security platform, says the company, features Integrated High Availability, delivering 1.5 gigabits per second of secure firewall throughput and making the DX4000 a leader in price and performance.
The DX4000, says Resilience, is ideal for enterprise and service provider network environments that demand availability and security. A single appliance housing two integrated hardware modules, pre-installed with Check Point Software Technologies’ VPN-1/FireWall-1 Next Generation software, the DX4000 eliminates the need to buy, manage and administer separate servers.
"The DX4000 is the culmination of Resilience's eight years of experience designing and delivering high availability and fault tolerant systems," says Michael Maulick, president and CEO of Resilience Corporation. "The result is an Integrated High Availability security appliance that surpasses the competition on all fronts: price, performance, and ease of use."
