Quintum Announces New Partnership with Telic.net
November 26, 2002 -- Voice over IP technology designer Quintum Technologies (Quintum.com) announced on Tuesday that it has adopted a marketing alliance with hosted VoIP enhanced services solutions developer Telic.net.
The Real-Time Billing Environment (RTBE) hosted by Telic, says Quintum, is a customizable billing solution that allows providers to launch VoIP services quickly, with no up-front investment. The carrier-grade, fully redundant, hosted RTBE system provides a web-enabled interface for customer management and billing functions. RTBE is also interoperable with Quintum Tenor MultiPath Switches.
The Tenor product line, says Quintum, provides high quality voice communications and a migration path for VoIP solutions, addressing the main concerns customers face when deploying VoIP. The MultiPath architecture, says Quintum, makes the solution the industry’s easiest to install. The SelectNet feature assures quality by monitoring call QoS and switching to the PSTN when the IP network can support a high quality call.
“The Telic hosted Real-Time Billing solution addresses a very important segment of the market with a full-featured system,” says Chuck Rutledge, vice president of Marketing for Quintum Technologies. “Quintum is very pleased to be a VoIP solution for Telic customers, and we look forward to a long and prosperous association.”
