Quintum Approved as Nortel Partner
May 21, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- VoIP technology developer Quintum Technologies (Quintum.com) announced on Tuesday that its Analog A400 and A800 Tenor VoIP MultiPath Switches have completed Nortel Networks Developer Program compatibility testing and are now recognized as Nortel Networks Compatible Products, supporting branch office installations of Nortel Networks Succession 1000 IP PBX networks.
Quintum says the Tenor's MultiPath architecture provides intelligent call routing and support for branch office networking with the Succession 1000, including connectivity between the Succession 1000 network and the PSTN, between analog phones and fax machines and the Succession 1000 and PSTN "hop off" and "hop on" from the Succession 1000.
"Both Nortel Networks and Quintum are dedicated to providing highly reliable branch office solutions to complement Nortel Networks state-of-the-art Succession 1000 IP PBX," said Chuck Rutledge, vice president of marketing for Quintum Technologies. "The combined solution will assure that Succession 1000 users will be able to easily and reliably integrate the traditional analog telephony endpoints in a branch office environment."
