Quintum's Tenor Wins UP TO SPEC Certification
January 14, 2003 -- Voice over IP technology developer Quintum Technologies (Quintum.com) announced on Tuesday that its Tenor VoIP MultiPath Switch was certified UP TO SPEC by industry analysis organization The Tolly Group in its performance evaluation.
Tolly tested both Quintum's Analog and Digital Series VoIP MultiPath Switches with embedded GateKeeper. The tests measured functions like Quintum's SelectNet auto-switching PacketSaver multiplexing technology for bandwidth optimization, MultiPath Call Routing, H.323 and T.38 fax interoperability with the Cisco 2600 Gateway and Cisco 2600 Gatekeeper and voice quality.
MultiPath Call Routing, says Quintum, performed successfully in all two-way voice call scenarios, as did interoperability tests between the Tenor and the Cisco gateway. All Voice calls and T.38 fax transmissions were established and sent successfully.
"We are very pleased to have the Tolly UP TO SPEC certification for our Tenor VoIP products," said Chuck Rutledge, VP of marketing at Quintum Technologies. "Tolly has an excellent reputation in the industry for its thorough testing standards and Tolly Group certification will allow our customers to purchase our products with increased confidence."
