NetIQ Announces VoIP Call Quality Software
November 15, 2002 -- Systems management, security management and Web analytics solution provider NetIQ Corp. (NetIQ.com) announced this week that it is introducing the Vivinet family of products, formerly known as the NetIQ VoIP Management Solution.
The Vivinet family of products includes NetIQ’s Vivinet Diagnostics product, enabling customers to pinpoint and diagnose call quality problems in Voice over IP environments, along with updated versions of the Vivinet Assessor and Vivinet Manager.
NetIQ says its new Vivinet Diagnostics tool can be used to analyze all network devices along the path of a VoIP phone call, for troubleshooting in both pre-deployment and post-deployment environments.
"The integration of Vivinet Diagnostics into the product family is seamless, using the same agents and the same performance and call quality measurements as Vivinet Assessor and Vivinet Manager," said Steve Joyce, vice president of Network Technology at NetIQ. "As you progress from pre-deployment to deployment to operational monitoring, you can always track the change in VoIP execution, without having to change your management infrastructure."
