NetCarrier Launches Voice and Data Services
August 1, 2002 -- Regional communications provider NetCarrier Inc. (NetCarrier.com) announced on Thursday that it is launching a new voice and data solution designed to provide healthy return on investment for customers.
NetCarrier says its new TeleFlex solution provides businesses with telephone and Internet access over a single T1 connection, using a technology that improves the efficiency of voice and data networks. The company says research shows the solution can save significant amounts on existing voice and data charges.
"All businesses, large and small, are focused on their return on investment now more than ever," says Brook J. Lenfest, chairman of NetCarrier. "TeleFlex gives companies a better product at a significantly lower price. In short, we're delivering a comprehensive telecommunications solution that provides the maximum return on investment. Any size company can benefit from TeleFlex; even smaller companies that have local and long distance services and a DSL line for data can now afford to switch those three services over to the reliability of a TeleFlex T1."
NetCarrier says the TeleFlex offering provides a full range of telephone features, including call waiting, call forwarding, three-way calling and selective acceptance. The service also supports firewall and virtual private network functions.
"Research showed that network reliability, cost and customer service are the top three customer concerns," said Chris Peltier, founder and chief technology officer of NetCarrier. "We set out to address these concerns and developed TeleFlex, a product tailor-made to satisfy voice and data needs."
