Mockingbird Networks Names CEO, Raises Capital
November 5, 2002 -- VoIP systems manufacturer Mockingbird Networks (MBird.com) announced on Monday that it has appointed high-tech industry veteran Pong Lim as its chairman and chief executive officer.
Pong, says Mockingbird, has over 20 years of senior management experience in the technology industry. He re-founded Ditech Communications and brought it public in 1999, as well as holding general management, engineering and finance positions at Alcatel/DSC/Granger Associates, Fairchild Semiconductors and Procter & Gamble.
Mockingbird networks says it has been providing its own suite of VoIP products since early 2000. Within 4 months, the company will launch its third generation product line, a secure voice-enabled VPN solution fore enterprises, called SecureVoice
The company is currently raising capital for sales and market development, and expects to become cash flow positive in the first quarter of 2003.
