Latis Networks Supports NetScreen Appliances
August 27, 2002 -- Network security software provider Latis Networks Inc. (Latis.com) announced on Tuesday that its StillSecure Border Guard now supports and integrates with the NetScreen firewall/VPN family of security solutions.
Latis says its solution allows NetScreen firewall customers to integrate their existing firewalls with an intrusion detection system, which significantly reduces the potential damage caused by malicious attacks.
StillSecure Border Guard prevents breaches in network security through Latis’ Dynamic Attack Suppression and Intelligent Attack Profiling technologies, which are both designed to prevent intrusions while reducing the cost of managing network security.
"NetScreen is a leader in the firewall/VPN space and we consider it imperative for StillSecure Border Guard to support NetScreen products in order to reach our target market of mid-tier enterprises," says Alan Shimel, VP Sales and Business Development of Latis Networks. "Border Guard and NetScreen firewalls represent a powerful combination that provides real security."
Latis says the StillSecure Border Guard, compatible with NetScreen firewall versions ScreenOS 3.0 and above, is available immediately.
