ITFor Picks WatchGuard VPN Firewall Solutions
March 17, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- Internet security solutions provider WatchGuard Technologies Inc. (WatchGuard.com) announced on Wednesday that Tokyo-based IT consulting firm ITFor Co. Ltd. has chosen WatchGuard Firebox Vclass security appliances for its new IP phone network.
According to WatchGuard, running a constantly connected IP phone network requires high-performance security features, including high-speed IPsec VPN throughput and Quality of Service (QoS). The company says its Firebox Vclass solution meets the VPN and QoS requirements while maintaining high processing speed.
"Since the launch of the Firebox Vclass series in April 2002, the line has received acclaim not only in Japan, but around the globe," said Jean Nassar, senior vice president of marketing for WatchGuard. "The selection of Firebox Vclass by such prominent IT professionals as ITFor once again proves the quality and reliability of these products. As the IP telephony market grows and the popularity of Internet broadband increases, WatchGuard will continue to meet the security needs of customers with its high-performance VPN and firewall solutions."
