IPVoice Launches IP VPN Services
July 29, 2002 -- Advanced Internet communication technology provider IPVoice Communications Inc. (IPVoice.com) announced on Monday that it has introduced a service designed to enable companies to provide remote users, branch offices and customers secure access to corporate networks applications and data via an IP enabled VPN.
The service will be officially launched in Dallas, Texas on August 1, 2002, and the company says initial orders for the service are already in progress.
IPVoice says its VPN service uses network economies of scale to reduce customer expenses associated with providing distant and remote access to corporate networks, applications and data.
"Having combined IPVoice and VergeTech, we are now working diligently to execute upon our renewed business plan with the rapid launch of new services intended to grow our customer base" says Philip Verges, CEO of IPVoice Communications. "Our VPN offering will give customers secure access to corporate information without client side software or remote hardware, unlike most current offerings. The service is simple to implement, simple to use, and very affordable."
