IPVoice Engages GoldenTree Capital
July 26, 2002 -- Advanced Internet communication technology provider IPVoice Communications Inc. (IPVoice.com) announced on Thursday that it had engaged GoldenTree Capital LLC (GoldenTreeCapital.com) to manage SEC compliance for the company and provide advisory and management services related to ongoing mergers and acquisitions.
"SEC compliance has always been an important and challenging function. In the shadow of Enron and Global Crossing, it has become critical," says Philip Verges, CEO of IPVoice. "Our search criteria for SEC compliance services included the expertise critical to succeed in a highly scrutinized function, and a commitment to the level of attention we feel necessary to practice compliance in excess of SEC minimums. Our goal is to advance IPVoice reporting practices to a state clearly above reproach. We believe GoldenTree Capital can get us there."
IPVoice says its next significant reporting events will be the second quarter report and the subsequent 8K disclosure of audited financials from the operating assets the company acquired from VergeTech Inc. in June of this year.
GoldenTree Capital says its initial funding efforts will be on bridge financing to compliment efforts to offset IPVoice’s operating deficit in combination with ongoing sales resulting from the VergeTech acquisition. change Commission filings.
