IP Communications Launches Alliance Partner Program

March 6, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IP Communications (ip.net), a leading data communications solution provider, announced on Tuesday that it would launch its Alliance Partner Program.

The new program, says the company, is designed to give partners the opportunity to offer their clients cost-effective, scaleable broadband solutions based on IP Communications’ portfolio of sophisticated data networking solutions, which includes virtual private networking, managed network services, Internet connectivity, email and Web hosting.

Designed to provide high commissions, support and product line diversification, says IP Communications, the program is geared toward Systems Integrators, VARs, Telecom/Datacom service providers and other professional service organizations.

"The goal of this program is to help our partners take full advantage of the future high growth in data networking solutions while adding value to their own product set," says Ray Bermond, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Our provisioning of services and market leading technical support ensures satisfaction of service delivery to the end user."

The Alliance program is designed to allow varying levels of participation to suit the specific needs of every partner, says IP Communications. They can join the program as either an authorized agent or as a reseller of the company’s data networking services. And regardless of what program they join, partners receive the support they need, says the company.

Support is provided through channel managers, and customers are able to work through a single point of contact for bid and pricing support.

And while third-party solutions often take months to integrate, IP Communications’ pure data networking solutions are focused to fill specific needs and to be incorporated quickly and easily. "The strength of our Alliance Program lies in the fact that we are a 'pure play' data-networking company," says Tim Neilan, Vice President of Alternate Channels. "Our expertise and resources are centered on a specific data product family, which enables our partners to gain traction with us quickly -- unlike other programs that take months to embrace, due to the complexity of their product offerings."
