International VoIP Council Hosts Event

April 5, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- VoIP business organization the International VoIP Council said this week that it has hosted its premier event, gathering a significant industry presence and support for the organization, which has set out to serve as a unified voice for VoIP in the business, consumer and technology communities.

"There is a lot of information in the public arena - some of which is correct and some of which is incorrect," said International VoIP Council founder, Neal Shact. "The mission of the council is to get out the correct industry message and educate the public on the many benefits that VoIP delivers today, and will continue to deliver tomorrow."

The council says industry support for the organization extends to businesses of all sizes, and was demonstrated at the event Wednesday through participation from CommuniTech, Frost & Sullivan, GN Netcom, Dialpad, PBX.net, Kancharla Corporation, Citel Technologies, GoBeam, bConvergent, DiamondWare, Interactive Intelligence, Hitnet, Net6, Go2Call, Pingtel, Swissvoice, Sylantro, VocalData and many others.
