Intrusion Supports VPN-1/FireWall-1 VSX

(intrusion.com), announced on Tuesday that it plans to support the newly released Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 VSX technology with an upcoming release of the Intrusion PDS Series security appliances.

Released Tuesday, the Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 VSX is the latest version of the company’s popular VPN and firewall platform, designed for large scale ISP and corporate data center operations.

The combination of Check Point’s VPN-1/FireWall-1 VSX and the Intrusion PDS Series, says Intrusion, will deliver an ideal solution for service provider and corporate data centers, allowing for the management of multiple security policies from a single hardware platform.

The PDS family of security appliances, says Intrusion, combines high performance, scalable security appliances with Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 solutions to secure business communications and resources for a variety of extended network functions.
