Interlink Receives Editors’ Choice Award
March 8, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Interlink Networks (interlinknetworks.com), a leading network access management software provider, announced on Thursday that it has chosen to receive a 2002 Editors’ Choice Award from Communications News magazine (comnews.com) for its RAD-E Enterprise Access Server.
Interlink says its RAD-E Enterprise Access Server provides authentication, authorization and accounting solutions for managing user access to networks and network resources. RAD-E, says the company, is RADIUS server designed to centralize the administration and security of network access for remote users, including those connecting via dial-in, VPN or firewalls.
Communications News editors viewed and evaluated the RAD-E at the January COMNET show in Washington DC, where the product was chosen as a finalist in the 11th Annual COMNET New Product Achievement Awards.
The magazine gave Editors’ Choice awards to five products, based on their use and value to enterprise end-users, says Interlink.
"We look for new products that will help enterprises improve the productiveness of their data and voice networks," says Ken Anderberg, Editor of Communications News. "While cutting-edge technology is part of the consideration, how the product will help IT managers get the most out of their networks is a primary criteria for selection."
The RAD-E Enterprise Access Server is also equipped to serve as a wireless access manager, authenticating and securing the connections of users employing 802.11 wireless LANs
