Bureau Veritas is using Infonet's Network Application Program methodology to determine the appropriate classes of service to operate throughout the network. The MPLS network, says Infonet, will connect 45 sites throughout Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia, with secondary sites connected through Infonet's Internet VPN on-net and off net services.
Bureau Veritas provides an extensive range of technical services and solutions, specializing in conformity assessment, consulting, training and outsourcing, through 550 offices and laboratories in 140 countries. With a staff of 13,000, the company serves more than 200,000 customers including local companies and major multinational corporations.
Infonet built a transparent and seamless global network for Bureau Veritas, using qualitative and quantitative metrics to determine which class of service features to Implement.
"We are very pleased to provide Bureau Veritas with our newest service offering, IP VPN Secure," says Alain Morgant, general manager of Infonet France. "This is a service specifically designed for multinationals, like Bureau Veritas, who expect the highest security levels when executing on their core business objectives.
