F5 President, CEO Joins Aventail Advisory Board
March 26, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- SSL VPN solution provider Aventail Corporation (Aventail.com) announced on Tuesday that John McAdam, president, CEO and director of F5 Networks has joined Aventail's advisory board.
According to Aventail, McAdam's experience leading the application traffic management solution provider will add to Aventail's insight into optimizing critical applications and networks from any location or device.
McAdam joins advisory members Alan Bender, executive vice president of T-Mobile; K.B. Chandrasekhar, co-founder, CEO and chairman of the board of Jamcracker; and Gary Gigot, a seasoned marketing executive and venture partner with Frasier Technology Ventures. Aventail says its advisory board members bring decades of technical knowledge and business expertise to help guide the company in the growing SSL VPN marketplace.
