Equant, TIME dotCom to Provide IP Services in Malaysia
August 28, 2002 -- Data and IP services provider Equant (Equant.com) announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with TIME dotCom Berhard (TIME) to offer Equant’s suite of data communications services to multinational companies doing businesses in Malaysia.
TIME, says Equant, is a leading Malaysian integrated network operator and communications service provider. As Equant’s distributor in Malaysia, TIME will resell and distribute Equant’s seamless managed virtual private network services, including Internet Protocol, ATM, Frame Relay, X.25, X.28 and Voice over IP and Frame Relay.
Equant says its expertise in IP and data services will allow TIME to deliver reliable advanced communications services, extending its network reach to more than 220 countries and territories. TIME customers will have access to Equant’s local support in 145 countries and territories.

Equant says the relationship allows TIME to leverage Equant’s fiber trunk and metropolitan area networks.
