Columbitech VPN Supports New Windows Systems
June 1, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- Wireless security software developer Columbitech (Columbitech.com) announced on Tuesday that it has added support for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Windows CE .NET to its Columbitech Wireless Suite just weeks after the release of Microsoft's latest operating system.
The additional client and server platform is available to customers immediately, says Columbitech. The company says its Wireless Suite eliminates security gaps and difficulties associated with accessing corporate data over wireless networks, offering strong security, connectivity and performance as well as seamless network roaming.
Windows Server 2003 support allows customers to use the Columbitech Wireless Suite with the new operating system to obtain greater scalability, improved mobility and enhanced management.
"We see great momentum in the market for Microsoft's mobility products," said Pontus Bergdahl, CEO at Columbitech. "With the addition of Windows Server 2003 and .NET clients we benefit from Microsoft's success and reinforce Columbitech's product leadership in the wireless security market."
