March 11, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Check Point Software Technologies (checkpoint.com), a leader in Internet security, announced on Monday the release of SecurePlatform, a new solution for quickly and easily deploying Check Point’s security on open platforms.
The Check Point SecurePlatform Media Pack with “One-Click” Install is a CD-ROM containing a hardened, customized operating system and Check Point’s VPN-1/FireWall-1 sofware, designed to run on any PC or server using an Intel processor.

The SecurePlatform Media Pack, says Check Point, is available immediately for enterprises of all sizes, delivering enterprise security through VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG Feature Pack 1, small and branch office connectivity through SmallOffice NG and data center and ISP gigabit-security through NG Performance Pack.
