Carrier Access, Fujitsu Sign Reseller Agreement
January 16, 2003 -- Broadband communications equipment maker Carrier Access Corporation (CarrierAccess.com) announced on Wednesday that it has entered into an international reseller agreement with Singapore-based Fujitsu Asia Pte. Ltd., an international provider of integrated IT, telecommunications and networking solutions.
The agreement, says Carrier Access, allows Fujitsu to use the Adit 600 Customer Media Gateway platform in delivering voice over IP services at customer premises. The solution converges traditional circuit-switched services with new IP Centrex network and enterprise voice services for both small and large enterprises.
"The Adit 600 CMG platform defines a new level of functionality for carriers of all types," said Roger Koenig, CEO of Carrier Access. "This extremely compact, highly integrated platform serves today's needs and provides a seamless and a cost-effective path to tomorrow's next-generation services.
