BizGuardian Offers Free VPN/Firewall Software Trial
April 1, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Firewall Security Solutions, Inc (bizguardian.com), maker of the BizGuardian security software solution, announced last week that it is offering free a free 10-day trial of BizGuardian Version 3.2.
The program’s integrated VPN Firewall, designed for small- to medium-sized businesses, can be quickly and easily installed by distributors, resellers and IT personnel. The trial version of the software can be downloaded from the company’s site, and installed in minutes. After the trial period, the product can be purchased online.
BizGuardian, says the company, provides third party firewall protection, as recommended by Microsoft, for customers who want a higher level of flexibility and functionality. Residing on an independent computer, like high-end VPN/Firewall products, BizGuardian can further reduce cost of ownership by operating on older Pentium computers or inexpensive new PCs.
Because BizGuardian is an operating system, says FSS, it does not require the use of a commercial operating system, which might compromise the security and privacy of the network.
Version 3.2 is the latest update of the VPN/firewall product, incorporating new features such as enhanced performance, graphical traffic reporting and monitoring and intrusion detection functionality.
"We’ve kept the same design goal; of having our product easy to install on any PC, while adding high end features into our reliable LoMax © technology firewall", says Jim Brown president of FSS Inc. "Our product is designed for small to medium businesses that need a robust easy to install Firewall/VPN solution that can easily grow to handle from 1 to 1000 users."
FSS, a privately held corporation, has been providing business software solution since 1997.
