Aventail Integrates RSA Encryption Software
May 11, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- E-security solutions developer RSA Security Inc. (RSASecurity.com) announced this week that SSL VPN developer Aventail Corporation is using RSA's BSAFE software to help secure its Aventail Connect and Aventail Anywhere VPN Server.
RSA says its embedded SSL encryption helps enable secure connections so remote users can securely access a company network, which can reduce deployment and management costs for VPNs.
Aventail uses SSL and proxies to provide secure remote access to Web client/server and file sharing resources. The RSA BSAFE encryption software is embedded into Aventail's SSL VPN to provide fast SSL encryption capabilities that help to ensure the security of VPN connections.
"Aventail's SSL-based products illustrate the tremendous value our customers gain by using our RSA BSAFE encryption software," said Victor Chang, vice president of the Developer Solutions division at RSA Security. "Our leading encryption solutions deliver the speed and performance our customers demand while enabling them to reduce their development costs. We then back our proven encryption technology with our world-class support, a key advantage in this competitive environment."
