Aventail Leads SSL VPN Forum at Conference

April 24, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- Clientless SSL VPN solutions developer Aventail Corporation (Aventail.com) announced on Wednesday that it has taken a leading role in leading educational discussions on SSL VPNs at the 2003 NetWorld + Interop conference taking place in Las Vegas.

Aventail says it will help conference attendees understand the issues involved in the debate comparing SSL VPN technology to SSL VPNs for remote access.

According to Aventail, the company will lead the SSL VPN Hot Spot, an educational area where attendees can learn about comparing SSL VPNs to IPSec VPNs. Aventail CTO, Chris Hopen, will deliver an overview of how SSLVPNs make access safe and cost effective for the enterprise, seamless to the end user, and manageable for IT administrators. Hopen will speak at two sessions, including "The VPN Debate: IPSec vs SSL," and "IPSec: Wrestle with it, fix it, or choose an alternative?"
