Atreus Adds Layer 3 MPLS IP VPN to Service Library
May 1, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- IP services and applications fulfillment provider Atreus Systems (Atreus-Systems.com) announced on Thursday that it has added support for Layer 3 MPLS VPN to its Connectivity and Security Service Library.
The service, says Atreus, includes service description and service driver modules which provide configurable, XML-based templates incorporating best practices in business logic, automated provisioning process and configuration attributes for intranets deployed over MPLS-based VPNs.
Building on its existing support for site-to-site and remote-access IPSec-based VPN, says Atreus, the company now delivers operational efficiency to the entire range of IP VPN services offered by service providers.
"Our customers see IP VPNs as a cost-effective enabling framework for a host of important business applications and services," said Patrick Rhude, director of product management at Atreus Systems. "Atreus xAuthority and this addition to our library of Service Descriptions and Service Drivers give service providers the operational readiness to rapidly create, customize, bundle and deliver a market-responsive IP VPN services portfolio."
