AEP Systems Appoints ORC as Government Reseller
April 10, 2003 -- (FIND VPN) -- Security solutions company AEP Systems Inc. (AEPSystems.com) announced on Thursday that it has formed a reseller partnership agreement with systems integrator and information assurance firm Operational Research Consultants Inc. (ORC).
ORC will offer AEP Systems' security products through a number of contract vehicles, including the US Department of Defense, Defense Information Systems Agency, the US General Services Administration, the US Department of Agriculture, the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US Census Bureau and the Administrative Office of the US Courts.
The combined sales staffs of the two companies will focus their initial marketing efforts on the AEP SureWare Keyper and AEP SureWare Net products. SureWare Keyper, says the company, is a device supporting high availability and load balancing while providing tamper protection to FIPS 140-1 Level 4. SureWare Net is especially well suited to government agencies using a VPN where protection of sensitive VPN traffic is a priority. The product is based on IPSec standards for IP security, and provides a managed solution through AEP's Policy Manager software.
"AEP Systems immediately benefits from ORC's extensive PKI expertise and the value ORC provides its customers," says Mark Taber, VP of sales for AEP Systems. "The partnership also enhances the level of customer service we can offer customers."
