Turillion Joins Check Point OPSEC Alliance

March 11, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Turillion Software Technologies, Inc. (turillion.com), a leading provider of e-business Web server security software, announced on Monday that it has joined Check Point Software Technology Ltd’s (checkpoint.com) Open Platform for Security (OPSEC) alliance.

OPSEC, says Turillion, is a leading open, multi-vendor security framework with over 300 partners. The platform is designed to allow vendors to seamlessly integrate a full spectrum of security applications that support Check Point’s Secure Virtual Network Architecture.

Turillion says it will work to integrate its eServer SecureT with Check Point’s award-winnning VPN-1/FireWall-1 Next Generation enterprise security solution, which integrates access control, authentication, encryption, network address translation, content security, auditing and connection control. Turillion says that through the OPSEC integration, eServer Secure will tell VPN-1/FireWall-1 to block the IP addresses of application attackers.

"As a member of the OPSEC Alliance,” says Todd Beebe, Turillion’s chief technology officer, “Turillion will work to ensure that its enterprise and service provider customers can easily integrate the eServer Secure WebServer Application Firewall with the market-leading Check Point NG solution," said Todd Beebe, Chief Technology Officer of Turillion Software Technologies, Inc. "Our alliance with Check Point demonstrates our commitment to provide organizations with best-of-breed ebusiness security solutions."
