NTT Communications Introduces China’s First International IP-VPN Service
March 15, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- NTT Communications Corp., a long-distance and international arm of Japan 's telephone giant Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp., announced today that it has launched China's first international IP-VPN (Internet Protocol-Virtual Private Network) service in alliance with the Beijing Telecom Corp. today.
Using multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) technology, the company's "Arcstar Global" IP-VPN service creates high-speed global IP private networks featuring high security and low costs.
NTT Communications (ntt.com) said it is responding to the growing needs for network capabilities to and from China.
