Genuity Provides Managed Security for Mathsoft

(mathsoft.com), a leading provider of interactive math, science, engineering and educational software products and content, has chosen Genuity’s managed security services to support its interactive Web sites.

Genuity says its Site Patrol Enterprise Managed Security services, which the company elected to use in addition to the Web hosting and Internet access services already supplied by Genuity, provide MathSoft with integrated firewalls and virtual private networks across the enterprise, backed by comprehensive service level agreements.

The Site Patrol EMS services, says Genuity, enable MathSoft to secure its corporate and educational Web sites, combining advanced security hardware and software from leading vendors with Genuity’s round-the-clock monitoring, maintenance and security policy management. The Site Patrol solution, says Genuity, will also enable MathSoft’s development team to securely perform content and applications maintenance from anywhere in the world.
